With reference to your despatch of the 11th November, reporting that Mr. W. Cameron had failed to embark for Hongkong in the S.S. "Himalaya" on the 5th November, I am directed by the Earl of Selborne to acquaint you that he has been informed by the Governor of Hongkong that Mr. Cameron did embark on the "Himalaya" and duly reached Hongkong in that ship, to which ship he had changed at Colombo.
